In life, that little "xtra" can make all the difference in the world.  A little extra effort, extra time, attention or love.  At Xtra, we are always looking for a way in which we can make a difference.

Our mission is to create lightweight and comfortable clothing that properly fits and benefits individuals with Down Syndrome.  A portion of every sale goes to support charitable organizations involved with Downs Syndrome.  

 

Being born with an extra chromosome (the cause of Downs Syndrome) can make it extra difficult to find clothing that fits properly and comfortably.

Having a brother with Down Syndrome, I’ve heard my Mother's frustration first-hand when trying to find jeans or shorts that fit him right. The average waist-line and inseam measurements for someone with Down Syndrome differs greatly from the typical adult. 

​

While we do not yet provide pants or shorts, our goal is to eventually do so; and to do so with an entire line of stylish, comfortable and well-fitting clothing.  For now we have just basic t-shirts, hats and sweatshirts.

Further down the road, we plan to develop the ability to provide tailor-made and custom-fitted pants, shorts, skirts and dresses as well.

We are a small company looking to have a big impact by giving back.  We strive to make sure we are giving a little Xtra in everything we do, and hope that you do too!
